The Samworth Church Academy Governors play a vital role in ensuring that every child receives the best possible education. They have a strong focus on three core strategic functions:
- To ensure the clarity of vision, ethos and strategic direction.
- Holding the Principal accountable for the educational performance of the school and its students and the performance management of staff.
- Overseeing the financial performance of the school and ensuring its money is well spent.
The full Governing Body hold six meetings a year. In addition, the Achievement, Attendance and Behaviour Group, chaired by Joanna Hall, meet each half term.
