Over the weekend of the King's Coronation from May 5th to May 9th, we hosted our Roundsquare event entitled "Back to Nature." The event brought together 94 students and staff members from 13 schools across the globe, including schools from the UK, Germany, India, the USA, Canada, Dubai, and Bermuda.

The adventure began on Friday, May 5th, when delegates arrived at The Samworth Church Academy. On Saturday, they travelled north to visit the beautiful stately home of Castle Howard before arriving at their home for the weekend, the Bushcraft camp on the grounds of Castle Howard. Throughout the weekend, the delegates enjoyed various outdoor activities, including shelter building, trap making, working with knives to carve wood, camouflage and concealment, and basic first aid. They also learned how to build fires and, most importantly, made new friends.

The event closed on Tuesday, May 9th, at Walesby Forest, where delegates heard from an inspirational speaker and celebrated with a disco. The organisers of the event would like to thank all the delegates for attending and making it a weekend to remember.
