Art & Photography students showcase their work
On show last week was work from the specialisms of Fine Art, Textiles and Photography at GCSE level, and Fine Art, Graphic Communication and Photography at A Level.
Studying art & photography is a great way to develop your creative skills and express yourself. It can also be a stepping stone towards many creative career paths, such as graphic designer, photographer, art therapist, gallery curator, illustrator, animator, product designer and many more. Head of Art Ms Fletcher shares our students' progression:
"Several students have gone on to study Arts courses at the next level, intending to pursue a career within the sector, which makes us very proud. As usual, the work looked amazing when it was exhibited all together. As ever, we are very proud of their achievements, as our courses continue to be very popular at GCSE and A level."
Miss Dunn, teacher of photography, is also keen to share her students' achievements.
"They were an amazing group of young people, so talented and dedicated to their studies in every way. They worked so hard and always wanted to know how to do more to achieve higher, which is evident in their outstanding work."
