It is possible to study music at degree level. Music is a good choice for students wanting a career in performing, teaching, administration, conducting, composing, recording engineer, managing, promoting, or music publishing. Careers in digital media such as social media, PR, technology, label services, ticketing and merchandising are also a possibility. It is also common to find music graduates in consultancy, finance, banking, music therapy and legal jobs.
Studying music gives you essential skills for employability such as problem solving, research, planning, analytical and critical thinking skills, as well as developing your creativity
